Overall, a very nice canid profile shot that could use some minor adjustments.
The subject is clear and in focus with no distractions in the foreground. The positioning of the subject is pretty well done with a decent amount of room in front of the nose so not to crowd the frame; though it may be a little stronger if there was maybe a half-inch cropped off the back placing the eye of the fox a little more in the left third of the shot.
There is one little distraction in the background, the dark strip that leads from the fox's ear and the viewers eye out of the frame. Unfortunately, there's not much to be done about that outside of photoshop. No matter how nicely you ask foxes tend to not want to be posed. The only true issue that I see with the shot is that the contrast could be adjusted slightly. It seems like the photo was taken on a cloudy day; that's where all the nice details in the fur come from. However it also means that the contrast will be a little off. It's not off by a lot but adjusting the contract would help to to darken the nose, bring out the white in the muzzle and make the pupil of the eye a little more pronounced. The difficulty would be adding contrast without losing the great detail that you have here.
Overall, a fantastic capture that could just use a little bit of contrast correction.
This is such a brilliant photo! I was wondering if you'd be okay with me putting this as MagnificentFoxes icon? I may edit it a little (edit meaning only putting the words "MagnificentFoxes" on it). Please reply, and keep up the amazing work!
